Suffice it to say that working 2 jobs during the Christmas season, with 2 small children in the house, takes quite a bit of my time and attention. Sure, I've posted a bunch lately, but it's almost all bee retreads of my earlier work. What little original material I've created has been snuck in during lunchtime. Anyhoo, whilst my attention was elsewhere, Andrew Sullivan decided to take whatever goodwill people had thought about giving him and tossed it into the toilet. I'm not linking to the post in question because I'm not giving that once-inspired-writer-turned-whiny-hack whatever pitiful traffic I could send his way. I'm sorry that it's come to this. Andrew has been one of my mainstays since I first stumbled onto blogs via the Corner. No more, though. One benefit is that I'll have more time to read better writers.
