2 Some of those statements have been attributed to various people. I'm pretty sure that the "If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." quote was in Dan Quayle Quarterly all those years ago. Still funny, though.

3 This page is full of errors. It's especially full of stupid things that Republicans have said that are now being attributed falsely to Democrats. You really ought to verify your stuff before you post falsehoods. "If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." Clinton DIDN'T say this. It was said by or at least attributed to Dan Quayle well before Clinton was on the national scene. "We are ready for an unforeseen event that may or may not occur." Al Gore did NOT say this. Some times they attirbute this to John Kerry, but neither he nor Al Gore said it. See same url. I'm going to post now, before this is too long and the webpage crashes or something. My computer is touchy sometimes.
