This week's sign that the Apocalypse is upon us(local edition)

The temperature in Richmond, VA, yesterday was 710F. Right now, it's snowing to beat the band. Um, WTF?

1 You make it sound like that's unusual. Maybe it is in Virginia, but here in Texas the weather fairly regularly changes by 40-50 degrees in one day. One day there's snow everywhere and the next people are wearing shorts and the day after they're all sliding around on the ice that formed from the melted snow. Ah, Texas weather...

2 I dunno. It probably depends on what part of Texas. The summer I spent in Houston, the temperature didn't vary too much. It went from 95 to 104, but you couldn't tell much difference due to the excessive humidity.
