Mystery solved

I'll finally be able to sleep at night. No more fretting over this problem.

1 Try throwing a credit card spinning in the air. You can easily get it to spin "flat," like a Frisbee. It's almost as easy to get it spinning around its long axis. Now try to get it spinning around its short axis. This is virtually impossible. Why?
