This makes me suspicious

I question the timing of this story. President Bush called John Kerry's Vietnam era service "more heroic" than his own. The bastard.

1 Near the bottom of the story is this: "Joe Napier, a 53-year-old electrician from Dayton, said he had been able to work only four weeks so far this year. "It's time for a change," Napier said. "We need somebody to get us some jobs."" Re-read that last sentence - "We need somebody to get us some jobs". That is the most pathetic thing I've ever heard anyone say.

2 I can top that. During the 1988 debate at UR, the ponytail-wearing butthead who said something like this: "We're like your family. What are you going to do for your family?" I thought a punch in the mouth might help. Okay, it would just make me feel better, but that's what it's all about, right?

3 Are you SURE that wasn't 92? I seem to remember that guy from the numerous references Limbaugh made to him on his TV show.
