I'm a criminal

A guy in my state is up making coffee in his own kitchen at 5:30 a.m. in the buff, but hey, it's his house. Anyway, a woman and her daughter were traipsing across his lawn at that time [ed. note: WTF?] and saw him sans clothes in his own house. So the cops are called. Do they arrest the trespassers/peeping Thomasinas? No, of course not. They arrested the guy for being naked in his house. In their words, "He wanted to be seen."

So it's possible that this guy will get convicted, pay a $2000 fine and spend up to a year in jail. He might even have to register as a sex offender. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with this picture?

1 Jeez. Reminds me of a story from several years ago. In which a kid sneaked ONTO THE NEIGHBOR'S PROPERTY and peaked into his neighbor's bedroom window, at which the curtain was open a few inches. He went back an told his dad that the neighbor was "playing pony" or something like that. Whereupon his father SNEAKED ONTO THE NEIGHBOR'S PROPERTY WITH A VIDEO CAMERA and up to the window WHILE TRESPASSING and videotaped said neighbor. Whereupon said neighbor was arrested for something on the order of public fucking. But don't get me started on "Georgia Crime".

2 I believe in some states the woman could have been fined for trespassing. And she probably should be. I have real WTF issues with people walking through my yard. There's a damn sidewalk down by the street, people! (I also have WTF issues with people letting their dogs crap in the middle of my lawn. I should not have to clean up someone else's dog's crap.)

3 I need to update the post, but there is apparently some things not entirely clear about what happened in the story above. I still maintain that it's his house and unless he waited for the elementary school bus on his front porch sans clothes, he shouldn't have been arrested. Oh, and ricki? The thing to do is pick up the dog crap, carry it over to the owner's home and give it to them while saying, "I believe that dropped something that belongs to you. No need to thank me: I'm a giver." Just an idea.

4 I'm waiting for it to come out that the woman was wearing night-vision goggles.
